Participatory Journalism: a Study of the Policies that regulate User´s Behaviour and UGC in News Media Websites

Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to analyze the regulation of user’s behavior and the content that the users publishes on the web sites of Spanish newspapers. The analysis of the Legal Advice and/or Conditions of Use in 54 online newspapers shows that the legal public documents regulating the newspapers examined are not updated to a 2.0 environment and do not guarantee neither quality nor compliance of the rules regarding UGC and behaviour. According to the results, there is no quality control commitment in relation to the content generated by users, the content generated by the media is better protected than the one generated by the users and UGC Content is being scarcely treated and developed.

Con motivo de la participación de la Pfra. Corredoira el próximo martes 29 en las II Jornadas de Innovación y Propiedad Intelectual organizadas por AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce in Spain), moderando a académicos, altos cargos del ministerio y a abogados de la industria (Warner Bros, Microsoft, Google) enlazo aqui a un trabajo editado en el Libro Blanco de la Prensa Diaria sobre la Agenda Digital Europea 2020 donde reflexiono sobre estos asuntos.
Lo plantearé a la mesa, ¿deberá incluir todos estos aspectos (marcas, patentes, etc) el Derecho europeo de Propiedad Intelectual que surja de la Agenda 2020?
